1. Online SBI

Log in to your SBI current or savings account on the official SBI website and pay your SBI card dues online. You can pay your dues anywhere and anytime without the hassle of standing in a queue through this method of payment.

How to pay using online SBI?

I. Register your SBI credit card on the website

  • Log in to onlinesbi.com using your net banking user ID and password.
  • Click on “Bill Payments” and go to the “Manage Biller” section.
  • Select the “Add” option in the “Manage Biller” section and opt for “All India Billers” and select “SBI Cards and Payment Services Ltd” as the biller.
  • Register your biller details and click on “Submit”. You will receive a One Time Password (OTP) on your registered mobile number.
  • Enter the OTP and approve the biller details. This will successfully register your credit card on the website.

II. Pay your bills

  • Click on the “view/pay bills” section and click on “without bills”.
  • Select SBI card as the biller and click on “Pay”.
  • Choose the SBI account number from which the payment must be made.
  • Enter the payment amount and click on “Pay Now”. Click on “Submit” to confirm your transaction and follow the instructions. Your payment is now complete.

2. NEFT

NEFT (National Electronic Transfer Fund) is a fast and secure system of money transfer from one bank to another. Customers can pay their SBI credit card outstanding through any bank account using the IFSC SBIN00CARDS. Customers can make payments anytime at their convenience from any bank (except SBI) that offers the NEFT facility.

How to pay using NEFT?

  • Log in to the net banking facility of your bank and add SBI Card as a beneficiary under “third party transfer”.
  • Add the IFSC code “SBIN00CARDS” to make the SBI card payment.
  • In place of account number, enter your 16-digit SBI card number.
  • Fill Bank name as “SBI CREDIT CARD – NEFT”.

3. RTGS

RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement) is an electronic form of continuous (real-time) settlement of funds individually on an order by order basis (without netting). In RTGS, the processing of instructions all the time they are received rather than some time later. SBI auto debit allows you to get your SBI card dues debited directly from your SBI bank account. Get the amount deducted directly from your SBI bank account on the due date. This will allow you to make the payments on time without fail. Credit limit will release subject to realization of funds. You will need to register for this service in order to be able to use it.

How to enroll for SBI Auto Debit?

  • Download the Auto Debit form from Forms Central.

6. What is IFSC code? What happens if I provide the wrong IFSC code?

Indian Financial System Code, or IFSC, is an 11-digit alpha-numeric code that uniquely identifies a bank-branch participating in the NEFT system. IFSC for SBI Card is SBIN00CARDS. If a wrong IFSC code is provided, then the payment is transferred to the branch whose IFSC code has been provided. You will then need to contact the respective branch whose IFSC code has been provided and settle the issue with them.

1. Are non-CTC cheques accepted for payment?

Yes, non-CTC cheques are accepted for payment of SBI credit card outstanding. However, as per the Cheque Truncation System (CTS) guidelines, the banking of such cheques will happen only on Monday. Also, while writing the cheques, fill in your SBI credit card number and amount exactly and do not over-write as cheques with alterations and corrections will be returned unpaid.

2. What should I write as “Payee Name” while making the payment by cheque to SBI card?

In order to make your SBI Card payment through cheque, the ‘Payee Name’ used will be “SBI Credit Card xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx (your 16-digit credit card number)”.

5. How long does it take for the payment made through cheque to reflect in my SBI account?

Cheques dropped in Metro locations will take 4 working days to get processed, while cheques dropped in non-Metro locations will be take 6 working days to get processed and start reflecting in your SBI Card account. Also, the cheques dropped on Saturday after 12 o’clock will start getting processed from the next working day onwards.
